 Calling all all-stars! Hey guys, For our upcoming all-star issue, we'd like to know how you manage to stand out on a large squad. What have you done to shine and stand out from the pack? It can be hard when a squad is full of talented cheerleaders, but we know you've got some secrets on how to be your team's rock star! Re: Calling all all-stars! i cheer for all stars and i manage to stand out by working extra hard and by doing facials! even though standing out is important you dont want to be an attention hog, you want the crowd to focus on the whole team being amazing!

Re: Calling all all-stars! I cheer for all stars and it is my first year! I like to just show my stuff! Somtimes when the squad is just talking I'll run and do a tumbling right between them so they watch what I can do because it seems I am not noticed! I also "HAM" up my facials as coach likes to say, and extremely tight motions! I work as hard as I can and I am moving forward in our formations! Hard work pays off!

Re: Calling all all-stars! To stand out in my gym, I work really hard. I'm on a senior four team with younger girls than myself on it, so i try to encourage them as they endure the stress, work eithic, and responsibilty of a more advanced team. Also, i cheer for school, to get in some extra practice time to further advance myself for all star. I have cheered for 7 years and I truly enjoy ever minuet of it... even the six hour practices that we pull. Aside from school, and Senior 4 all star, i coach the youth team at my gym. I love my little youth team. They are amazing! those girls are the example for the gym. they work so hard and do everything they are asked to do, and it is deffinetly going to show when comp season begins!

Re: Calling all all-stars! I'm a middle school cheerleader but not long ago I used to cheer for all-stars......It changed my life. I'm now a 110% cheerleader. The effort that us girls put in to stand out really wow's u. The hair,the make-up,the loudness,the facial expressions,the technique,the execution of skills,and so much more. My parents pressure me into becoming the very best that I can be and in the end i really do it. I go out there and give it my all every second. Even as a middle school cheerleader I am full of pride and spirit! For pep rallys and football games I give it my all,110%, and I never back down to competition.
